How to choose Brake Fluid?

When it comes to the fluids your car needs to be replaced, many people don't know why they should be replaced.

When choosing brake fluid, you should choose high-boiling high temp brake fluid. Therefore, if overheated and vaporized electricity is not enough to cause weakening and affect safety.

No matter what kind of fluid must have better fluidity on the vehicle, so the choice of brake fluid depends on its freezing point.

Generally speaking, the condition of the Brake Oil Fluid must be checked when driving 10,000-20,000 kilometers.

Inferior Brake Oil has poor high temperature resistance and is easy to evaporate under hot conditions, forming bubbles that are easy to observe with the naked eye.
Universal Brake Fluid
Brake fluid is the fluid under pressure in a car's braking system.

When the brake oil is mixed or sucked, or when impurities or sediment are found in the brake oil, it should be replaced in time or carefully filtered. Otherwise, the brake pressure is insufficient and affects the braking effect.

When the vehicle is running normally, if the brakes are light or heavy, the brake oil should be replaced in time, and the brake system should be cleaned with alcohol before replacement.

When the vehicle brakes deviate, the brake system should be checked comprehensively. If it is found that the cup of the sub-pump expands too much, it means that the quality of the brake oil may be problematic, and high-quality brake oil should be replaced at this time.

At this time, low-temperature viscosity brake oil should be selected when replacing new brake oil.

It is the liquid medium that transmits the brake pressure in the hydraulic brake system, and its main functions can be attributed to the four aspects of transmission pressure, heat dissipation, corrosion and rust prevention, and lubrication. Simply put, without the support of the brake agent, the vehicle is very Difficult to successfully complete the braking process.

The immediate effect of the reduced boiling point is that when the brake system overheats, the brake fluid can easily boil and cause gas in the lines. This is likely to corrode other parts of the brake system, and even cause brake failure in severe cases.

If the boiling point of the brake fluid is not high enough, the brake fluid will vaporize and produce bubbles, and the purpose of braking cannot be achieved immediately, so driving safety cannot be guaranteed.

If you use inferior brake fluid with poor temperature performance and high freezing point, it will freeze at a temperature lower than -20°C, which will greatly affect driving safety.

Brake fluid has water-absorbing characteristics, which will reduce the boiling point, pollute and oxidize and deteriorate to varying degrees.

DOT minimum boiling point standard data:Type of brake oil (alcohol based)

Boiling point:Brake Fluid Dot 3 205 ° C,Brake Fluid Dot 4 230 ° C ,Brake Fluid Dot 5.1~270 ° C

Wet boiling point:Brake Fluid Dot 3 140 ° C,Brake Fluid Dot 4 155 ° C,Brake Fluid Dot 5.1~190 ° C
